Aureus Primary School admission arrangements for 2024/25

Applications for a place at the school are managed by Oxfordshire Local Authority through their coordinated admissions process online.

Published Admission Number (PAN) 

Aureus Primary School has an admission number of 60 for entry in Reception. The school will accordingly admit this number of pupils each year if there are sufficient applications. Where fewer applicants than the PAN are received, Aureus Primary Primary School will offer places at the school to all those who have applied.

Transition into Aureus Primary School

• Welcome meeting to share school values and routines. 
• The home visit is an informal opportunity to see your child in their familiar setting, home. Meet staff again and a chance to discuss any concerns. 
• Pre-school visits to ensure a smooth hand over of any information between early years professionals 
• Taster session (stay and play) at school to explore the classroom, meet teachers, support staff and new friends
