Year 6 visit to the Junior Citizen Trust @ Rewley Road Fire Station

Today Year 6 had an amazing visit to Rewley Road Fire Station in Oxford where they worked with the Junior Citizen Trust to learn about how to keep themselves safe in a range of situations. The children had the opportunity to meet with members of a range of emergency services and make simulated 999 calls.

As well as the visit itself, the children had the exciting opportunity to travel to Oxford and back on the train. This provided another useful chance for children to learn about how to keep themselves safe and managing travelling with greater independence.
