GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
We had great fun celebrating GLF Schools’ 10th birthday by taking part in activities which helped us to think about what makes our family of schools special!
We particularly thought about our trust's symbol, the Hummingbird, which is an ancient symbol representing tireless energy and the pursuit of all that is good in life.
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
