GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
This week, Kandinsky Class have been thinking about how to write instructions. Their task was to write instructions entitled ‘How to make a picnic for a bear’. To bring their learning to life, the children acted as the Kandinsky Bears to make their very own picnic, which they even got to eat at break time! After break, they wrote the instructions, using a title and even sub-headings!
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
